I converted Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks and Illustrator concepts to XHTML + CSS and then converted to a Joomla CMS 1.0.x template. Later on Joomla 1.5 was adopted so I learned to convert templates and build for the new version. Configuring and customising Joomla components, modules and plugins was also something I had to do.
I was also responsible for training clients on their new or existing website so they could easily edit and control the website themselves. This involved email and phone support and constant client liason throughout the whole design to completion process.
Other projects I was involved in were creating dynamic Flash banners, skinning and working with Chameleon’s induction software and creating annual report ‘flipping books’.
Chameleon Creative split in to two - Dash Digital being the web side of the business.
I was in charge of handling all support queries and forwarding on to other team members in order to get support work completed. I was later moved to Lead Website Developer and continued to develop websites in the Joomla 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7 CMS. I was also responsible for building HTML email templates for the client to use in their CMS or other email software.
It was my role at Webarena to grab all relative documents for a job from multiple locations and servers, slice an approved design (PSD) and then implement that design on Webarena’s proprietary CMS. It was a virtual office environment so I worked from my home and interfaced with my colleagues through Skype and email. It was necessary for me to output a minimum of one website a day, fully sliced and content implemented for quality assurance and client approval.
This is my own sole-trading business in which I quote, obtain a hosting account, design, build and finalise a website while liasoning with the client during my free time and non-business hours.
I worked with a copywriter and the client to refresh the design of the client’s website and upgrade their Joomla CMS version. I provide ongoing support with the client. Joomla CMS, XHTML, CSS, PHP and jQuery are used for this website.
I was provided with a PSD concept to sliced it up and convert to the Joomla 1.7 CMS. Joomla CMS, XHTML, CSS, PHP and jQuery are used for this website.
While working for Dash Digital, I was provide a PSD concept which I sliced in to a Joomla! template while working with other team members. I was usually in charge of launching the website on our hosting. I provided training and client support throughout many of the projects.
